Centuries ago, the sons of God took the daughters of men for wives. How Fallen Angels could mate with humans is an ongoing mystery but according to Genesis, Chapter 6 of the Bible, it happened. The genetic results created a race of giants whom God sought to destroy in a massive flood. According to the early Christian teachings, these departed spirits wandered the waters and sought to reenter humans. The New Testament calls these misplaced souls Demons. The author has projected this phenomenon into the present as a group of wealthy people seek to recreate the human race by mating a young virgin with one of their own.
