But we are floating in space inside a web of atmosphere moving with earth as it spins at a rate of 300 miles and hour as it orbits around the sun–a star that is exploding and burning out! Wow! Yet, we are held in space by an invisible hand scientists call gravity. But isn’t it comforting to know humankind is not alone? I believe Someone bigger than I am, smarter and more powerful, with unlimited resources, is watching over all of us and cares what happens on a daily basis. I call Him God, or Father, or Jesus the Son, or the Holy Spirit, because all three together embody the Trinity. David the Psalmist had something to say about this: “O Lord, through all generations you have been our home! Before mountains were created, before the earth was formed, you are God without beginning and end,” Ps 90:1-2. The Living Bible. So, let us not become weary of living. Don’t look now, but God is about to do something wonderful, magnificent, in your life! Let us be comforted today by that thought.
